Additional Health Exchange Offerings
North Carolina is adding several insurance carriers to the offerings available on the Health Exchange bringing the total to 7. In addition, the financial cap (income limit) has been lifted making many more people eligible for coverage.
South Carolina has 4 insurance carriers on the Health Exchange, up from 2021, resulting in more options. Additionally, one carrier is offering a national preferred provider organization (PPO) to members. This is the first time this sort of benefit has been offered in our area!
