We are an Independent  Insurance Agency that focuses on making your life easier. 

We shop many different insurance companies to find you and your employees the best quality and most affordable Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability and Long-term Care insurance insurance.

Our focus is on helping small businesses that have between 2 to 50 employees to simplify the confusion caused by all the federal and state legislation.  We review the options and help the employer to determine the best employer benefits for their staff, between group health insurance coverage or ICHRA (Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Accounts).

We work with individuals to find the coverage that best meets their  personal needs.  Everyone is unique and therefore we take the time to let individuals tell us what they feel they need and we find solutions to match their stated goals.

We are very proud of our small business status within the communities we represent.  Maria is a founding board member of the Pineville Chamber of Commerce.  And, we actively participate in the Carolinas Referral Group (CRG) in both North and South Carolina.

Maria founded Carolina Health Connections to help simplify the stressful world of Health Insurance in 2014. She worked with several other agencies prior, but realized that to full fill her vision she needed to have her own agency.

Maria got her start in health insurance working for CIGNA in 1996, then In 2006 was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer and realized that it was time to make a change. Wanting to use everything she learned with her 10 years in the industry, she felt the best way to do that was to help people one at a time.

Bill Tedesco joined Carolina Health Connections in 2018 after relocating to Fort Mill, SC from Long Island, NY.  Bill understands that his clients deserve someone who will listen to them and give sound advice when choosing insurance plans. Bill is very patient, detail-oriented and committed to providing high-quality service and developing client relationships.

Susan Hug has been a licensed South Carolina agent since 2012. She joined the Carolina Health Connections team in 2015. When she retired from her full-time job she found out just how complicated Medicare is and decided that she wanted to help simplify the process of making the big change for others.
